Pre-school Activities
K'NEXT Generation Pre-school Activities use Kid K'NEX to support A Curriculum for Excellence. They encourage active learning, which takes place in a nurturing environment, allowing everyone to achieve. The activities include story-telling, Kid K'NEX model building, colouring and 'Show & Tell'.
Each activity lasts between 45 and 60 minutes and caters for up to 20 children

Awesome Aliens
A cross-curricular Kid K'NEX workshop incorporating whole class story-telling, working in pairs and individual tasks. Story-telling is used to introduce the theme of the workshop and to engage the children with the subject. Working in groups pairs, during the model building phase of the workshop, encourages communication skills and idea development through discussion whilst building confidence and manual skills. Colouring in of K'NEX alien pictures or a "Show & Tell" session facilitates development of art, listening and speaking skills.
